Hallow Spider Cookie

Preparation Time: 35 minutes 

Servings: 30 people 

Ingredients for Cookie Dough

1 3/4 Cup Uni President Jin-Q Flour

3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Cup Dark Compound Chocolate Chips

200g  Arla Unsalted Butter (softened)

1 Tsp Everstyle Vanilla Flavour / Essence

1/2 Tsp Baking Powder 

1/2 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Egg

Ingredients for Spider

200g Dark Compound Chocolate Button (melted)

40 Maltesers

40 Candy Eyeballs


STEPS

STEP 1

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line trays with baking paper.


STEP 2

Beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla flavour in a bowl with a whisk/electric mixer until combined.


STEP 3

Slowly stir in sifted flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add chocolate chips.


STEP 4

Place 30g of cookie dough onto the baking sheet (each 5cm apart). Bake cookies for 12 - 15 mins and allow to cool.

STEP 5

Use melted chocolate to glue 2 maltesers per cookie to form the spider's body. Using a piping bag, create 4 lines of melted chocolate on each side of the cookie to form the spider's legs. Stick on candy eyeballs with remaining melted chocolate.
