Hallow Spider Cookies

Ingredients
Dough

1 3/4 Cup Uni President Jin-Q Flour
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Dark Compound Chocolate Chips
200g Unsalted Butter (softened)
1 Tsp Everstyle Vanilla Flavour / Essence
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Egg

Spider
200g Dark Compound Chocolate Button (melted)
40 Maltesers
40 Candy Eyeballs

STEP 1

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line trays with baking paper.

In a mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla flavour with a whisk/electric mixer until combined.

STEP 2

Slowly stir in sifted flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add chocolate chips.

STEP 3

Place 30g of cookie dough onto the baking sheet (each 5cm apart). 

Bake at 180°C for 12 - 15 mins and allow to cool.

STEP 4

Use melted chocolate to glue 2 maltesers per cookie to form the spider's body. Using a piping bag, create 4 lines of melted chocolate on each side of the cookie to form the spider's legs. Stick on candy eyeballs with remaining melted chocolate.
