Recipe for a Soft & Fluffy Panettone Bread

Ingredients

  • Uni-President My Day Home Made Bread Flour 500g
  • Fine Sugar 60g
  • Salt 10g
  • Lesaffre Dry 3g Baker's Yeast 9g
  • 1 Whole Egg
  • Milk 140g
  • Butter 120g
  • Infused Mixed Dried Fruit
  • Icing Sugar
  • Pearl Sugar
  • Ribbon

Step 1

Knead all the ingredients together until dough is formed and smooth with a window pane effect

Step 2

Ferment the dough at 28°c for 1 hour

Step 3

Divide the dough into equal pieces of 290g and place them into the panettone mold

Step 4

Ferment the dough at room temperature for 90 minutes or place the dough in an air tight container with a glass of warm water.

Step 5

Add some pearl sugar onto the dough before baking the dough in the oven for 13-18 minutes at 160-190°c

Decorate & Enjoy

Once baked, dust some snow sugar onto the panettone and hang them upside down to cool.
