Ingredients:

Cake Batter
150g Bouchee Cake Premix (Awesome)
240g Whole Egg (Seperate Yolk & White)
40g Milk
20g Vegetable Oil
90g Sugar
2g Salt

Filling
100g Unsalted Butter (Arla)
20g Icing Sugar

STEP 1

Preheat oven at 175°C.

Cake Batter
In a bowl, add yolk, milk and vegetable oil. With a hand mixer, beat till the mixture is pale yellow (2 mins).

STEP 2

Sieve premix together with salt. Beat at low speed for 1 min, gradually increase speed for 2 mins.

STEP 3

In a separate bowl, add egg white and beat till foamy. Then, add sugar and beat till medium peak. 

STEP 4

Add 1/3 egg white into batter and fold in.
Subsequently, add the remaining egg white and repeat, till batter is evenly combined.

STEP 5

Use a tablespoon to scoop the batter onto the baking sheet forming a round 7cm diameter circle.

STEP 6

Bake at 175°C for 10 mins.

Let Bouchee cool before adding the filling.

Step 7

Bake at 175°C for 10 mins.

Let Bouchee cool before adding the filling.

Step 8

Spread your desired amount on a Bouchee and place another Bouchee on top.

Alternatively, you may spread your desired filling.
